In these unprecedented times our small Dot Sign Language team are doing our utmost to keep things running so that students can continue with their BSL classes. We have now delivered at least one session of all our courses via Zoom – A big thank you to our teachers for embracing the technology and learning how to use it so quickly. Zoom is different to traditional face to face teaching, but we are fortunate that sign language lends itself very well to video (a reason why technology has made such an enormous difference to the way Deaf BSL users communicate.) 

Initial Zoom sessions have been limited to a shorter time than a normal class to test the system and see how everyone feels about video conferencing, but as the teachers and students get to grips with everything Zoom has to offer we will be able to improve the sessions every time.

We thank you all for your patience, support and kind words while we implement these new systems. We will continue to do everything we can to support you with your studies.
