Deaf Awareness and BSL School Assembly

Thank you Beaufort School for inviting Dot Sign Language to give assemblies to Key Stage 1 and 2 this morning.

The school have been celebrating Deaf Awareness week and it was wonderful to see how excited the children were to learn some signs and how to fingerspell. They asked Kathleen some very insightful questions about growing up Deaf, learning BSL and different sign languages around the World.

It is great that the school are already so aware of being Deaf Aware and including their deaf and hard of hearing students.

We saw the sound clouds in the hall donated by CSSEF 🙂
