Last Wednesday, coinciding with Deaf Awareness Week, Kathleen taught the first session of a 10 week Introduction to British Sign Language course. The venue was the Department For International Development (DFID) in Whitehall, London. Twelve members of the department have committed to learning the basics of BSL in readiness for an International Summit in July.
