With a ten week British Sign Language course for BFI (British Film Institute) well underway, we are delighted that another group of staff are keen to learn.

Yesterday, Kathleen taught the first session of a second course to 11 BFI team members using Zoom. She was assisted by an interpreter who provided a simultaneous voiceover. Students were grouped into pairs so Kathleen could clearly see their signing on the screen and give them individual feedback.

We look forward to the rest of the course and are so pleased that people are commiting to learn BSL during lockdown.
