Due to the number of people who booked onto the training sessions, this morning Kathleen taught a second Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language workshop at Guildford Tunsgate.

Staff from the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford Museum, city centre retailers and Tunsgate head office staff all enjoyed a morning of learning how to communicate in BSL. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and how quickly they picked up fingerspelling, phrases for assisting Deaf shoppers and directions.

The more people who know the BSL basics and are confident welcoming Deaf shoppers and theatre-goers, the better their experience will be. Thank you Experience Guildford for your dedication to ongoing training.
