Funding from CSSEF For Teachers to Learn British Sign Language!!!

Incredible News from Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund (CSSEF)…

From CSSEF: “We are delighted to share that we have funding available for 10 teachers to learn British Sign Language Level 1, including with Dot Sign Language starting from September 2019.

“We want teachers who want to make a difference to deaf children in their education. Teachers who will go on to be the person who advocates for deaf children in their school.

“This is for us the start of something to make a difference in British Sign Language being in schools. Our first step is to achieve teachers learning BSL. Our next step is to have BSL being taught in schools.

“If you are a teacher that teaches at a school or preschool in the local areas to these Sign Schools, and you want to learn BSL, then please contact us on wishes@cssef.org for a Wishes Application. You do not need to have a deaf child in your school or class room for you to be considered.

“Applications for funding are available until 2nd September 2019. We will respond to all applications and inform who has been successful in their application on 3rd September 2019.”

“THANK YOU” Karen and everyone at CSSEF for all the fundrasing you do to make this possible.
