This temporary position offers you the opportunity to work in deaf education while also improving your BSL skills.

The Lighthouse works to support deaf children from age 3 to 11 in a mainstream setting.  We provide a ‘Total Communication’ environment for deaf children who have wide-ranging communication preferences, from first-language BSL users to spoken-language English users.  This is a highly rewarding post for those interested in enabling young deaf children to access language and learning.

If you are a talented communicator with a passion for deaf education, this is the role for you. We welcome applications from candidates looking for full-time work, or part-time as a job share.
