Dot interviewed on Radio Woking

On November 14th Dot Sign Language were invited onto the Interview show on Radio Woking.

DJ Tim Mitchell asked Clair from Dot lots of questions about our BSL courses, our Deaf Awareness workplace training, and our visits to school assemblies. We chatted about the differences between BSL and Makaton and Signed English, whether Sign Language varied around the World, and how it is different to spoken English.

We enjoyed looking at the BSL online resource and discussing the importance of facial expressions!

Tim wanted to learn some BSL live on air – a first for radio? We videoed him signing his name and “Thank you, Goodnight” to the listeners. Check them out on our Facebook page dotsignlanguage
