Deaf Awareness Training For Team Behind Magazines

We were delighted to deliver Deaf Awareness Training for Hearst as part of National Inclusion Week (encourages organisations to treat all staff fairly and to continue meeting the Equality Act 2010).

Hearst publish magazines such as:

– ASDA magazine
– Best
– Cosmopoliton
– Country Living
– Elle

In the session, I covered areas such as how to tell the difference between deaf and Deaf, tips when communicating with D(d)eaf people and fingerspelling.

I was impressed by all the attendees.
