The Dot Sign Language Team had a fabulous evening at The Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund CSSEF Black Tie Ball at Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook.
CSSEF Chair and Founder Karen Jackson and team had organised an event of excellent food and drink, entertainment, updates on the charity’s work and plans, and an opportunity to meet up with old friends and make news ones.

The CSSEF team work tirelessly to raise money to brighten the lives of local Deaf children. We hope the auctions and donations raise lots of money to continue this work.
One initiative is to fund more teachers to learn BSL. CSSEF have already funded ten teachers, next year they hope to fund 20 more. These teachers do not need to have a deaf child in their school at the moment, because one day they might. By learning BSL they will become more Deaf Aware, be advocates for deaf children and will be able to pass on their skills – teaching all children to sign. If you are a teacher in Surrey / Hampshire / Berkshire / areas of London (previously Surrey) and want to learn BSL please contact CSSEF.
Thank you from Dot for a wonderful evening!
