Signature Level 3 Certificate in British Sign Language
The Level 3 Certificate in British Sign Language meets the learning needs of those who already have competence in BSL at Level 2 and are interested in developing their skills and knowledge.
The learner will be able to understand and use varied BSL in a range of work and social situations, as well as developing an advanced knowledge of the structure and function of BSL and an understanding of the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture.
This qualification is also suitable for Deaf people who would like to achieve a qualification in their own language.

Kathleen Grehan – Director of Dot Sign Language, will explain the aim, content and assessment methods of this course. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions.
If you are not a current Dot Sign Language student and are interested in joining our Level 3 course you will need an interview with Kathleen to assess your signing and receptive skills. This is a requirement of all BSL teaching centres by Signature.
The course information and interviews will be by Zoom video conferencing.

Course Structure
Candidates must demonstrate both receptive and productive BSL skills at level 3, in all of the six topics that make up this qualification. Assessments may cover any of the topics listed in
this qualification.
