Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund

Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund (CSSEF)  is a small, local charity whose aim is:

  • to raise deaf awareness in Surrey, Bershire & Hampshire and
  • to provide resources and equipment to support deaf children’s emotional well being
  • to provide Deaf Friendly activities after school to support deaf children’s emotional well being

The charity was started in 2010 by Karen and Brian Jackson and inspired by their daughters Chloe and Sophie who are deaf. With the help of family and friends in the community CSSEF has grown from strength to strength by raising funds to help them achieve their aims.

CSSEF provides funding that will benefit deaf children, for example, it offers to fund BSL Level 1 courses for parents with deaf children, who live in Surrey or Hampshire. Several of Dot’s  Level 1 students have benefitted from the support of CSSEF.
