This will be an informal 1 hour when we will give you a taste of British Sign Language (BSL.) Aimed at complete BSL beginners – we expect no prior knowledge! Everyone is welcome, whether you just want to come to this session, or if you are considering booking one of our ‘Introduction to BSL’ or Level 1 courses.

Director of Dot Sign Language, Kathleen Grehan will teach you how to fingerspell, as well as key phrases when meeting a Deaf BSL user.

Kathleen teaches in BSL, interpreted into English. This is your opportunity to get a feel for the language and ask any questions to someone who knows the language inside out and can discuss Deaf Awareness from personal experience.
