Deaf Awareness and Basic British Sign Language

Are all your staff confident in communicating with Deaf customers and colleagues?

Are your services accessible to Deaf clients?

Ideal workshop for Equality and Diversity Training.

Our workplace training is tailored to the needs of the organisation and varies according to the nature of business. In a thought provoking, interactive session we will cover:

  • Awareness of Deaf issues, people, and culture
  • Understanding how The Equality Act 2010 affects your business
  • Practical steps every employee can take to be Deaf Aware
  • A ‘hands on’ session learning BSL signs relevant to your organisation.

We can provide training at your place of work at a time which suits you.

Please contact us to discuss your workplace training needs.

We were invited to Basingstoke Specsavers to run a workshop for staff to boost their Deaf Awareness so they can promote their Hear Care audiology service.
You may wish to consider having some ‘Go to’ people who hold a Level 1 qualification in BSL.
This will enable you to put the certificates on the wall so all your customers know who the staff members are. The Level 1 course can be achieved in 60 hours of teaching.  Find out more about Level 1 training
