Kathleen and team are looking forward to visiting Bocketts Farm near Leatherhead next week. With a large number of Deaf children and their parents visiting, the staff are very keen to learn BSL signs and phrases to enable them to welcome and chat with their Deaf guests.

Not only has it been a lot of fun for us thinking about how we will describe the famous pig racing, we are extremely excited and thankful that Cath Smith – author of many BSL books, has shared lots of animal images from her book Animal Signs. Following the training, these signs will be permanently displayed next to the appropriate animals. We will let you know more next week….
