British Sign Language Training for Audiologists

We work with audiologists in London, Surrey and the South East.

Our workplace training for NHS healthcare providers is centred around the challenges Deaf BSL users face when accessing healthcare.

For audiologists, we tailor our training to focus on teaching key BSL signs and phrases they will need to confidently communicate with deaf people on a daily basis. Run by a Deaf teacher and interpreted into spoken English throughout, attendees can fully immerse themselves in BSL.

The Equality Act 2010 is the law that bans discrimination and helps achieve equal opportunities in the workplace and in wider society.

The NHS has further obligations to take positive action and make sure information is accessible. Deaf Awareness workplace training is taking a valuable step towards equality and inclusion. And not only will the department be more accessible to deaf patients, staff will be motivated.

You can also take Level 1 BSL with us.
