COVID-19 Guidance for Dot Sign Language Classes

We are currently running face-to-face lessons, using appropriate social distancing measures, with our new courses.

We’re following Government guidelines and advice as they become available. Due to lockdown 2.0 government guidance, some of our classes are now online using Zoom video conferencing.

Please note we may need to make changes to timetables. Unfortunately, we will be unable to issue refunds to students who decide not to continue with online learning.

We are continuing to adhere to Covid prevention measures laid out by the government. Please read our Review_Covid -19_Student Information Oct 2020 (3) and Risk Assessment for further guidance.  We are keeping a close eye on government updates and will follow the guidelines as they are published.

November 2020- Second national lock down in place 4th November – 2nd December

We have followed Government guidelines and as an educational establishment are allowed to continue our classes (with class size restrictions as before) Our Guildford venue accepts the education as part of their venue structure. Our Woking venue does not accept education as part of their venue structure so all Dot Sign Language courses held at our Woking venue have been moved to Zoom for the duration of the second lockdown. We will seek guidance on reopening nearer to the 2nd December 2020.

Please be aware that in the event of an infection being identified within our classes, teaching environment or staff classes will close for 14 days and all teaching will be conducted over Zoom.
