What our students say

When I joined the Dot team as Marketing & Strategic Planning Officer I had been volunteering in a school with deaf children (which I still do) and had completed a pre-level 3 BSL course a couple of years ago.

Now part way through Level 3, we have just finished linguistics. I’ve found it really clear how the linguistics have been taught, very thorough with great take-away notes. We’ve also had plenty of receptive and productive signing practice so we can see why we are learning all about the different verbs, classifiers, timelines etc. Kathleen has been very encouraging which has helped me feel much more confident. I am really enjoying learning and meeting the other students. – Clair.
